Debut: JJ Project

JYP Entertainment's new duo boyband named JJ Project comprised of Park Jin Young [known as JR.] and Im Jae Bum [known as JB] recently made their debut with their singled titled Bounce it's a fun and up to the beat song that is not usually found in a group produced by JYP.
If you guys watched DREAM HIGH 2 then you might all know JB & Jr. from their acting debut. Though they we're still trainees back then, they grabbed attention from the media for their slick dance performances, JB's vocals and Jr.'s rapping that is up to par with 2PM's Taecyeon. With the success of JYP Entertainment's singers, it is no joke about the burden these two had to carry with their already famous names and their seniors from the company, it's no joking matter about their burden.
Well they can breathe a bit now, since their debut was a success with all the viewers & international fans showing their support for JJ Project. An MR-Removed of their debut in M!Countdown has gained attention for their perfect synchronization, their breathing taken at the right time and their dancing not even faltering a bit. It was like they we're born to take the stage. No nervousness was present during their stage, it was a perfect combination for the two.

Girls Generation - TaeTiSeo

SM Entertainment recently created a new unit comprised of Girls Generation members - Kid Leader TaeYeon, Brighter than Mushrooms Tiffany and Maknae SeoHyun. We all know that Girls Generation can dance, but what about singing? Can they really support themselves? This is where TaeTiSeo comes in. The four main & lead vocals of Girls Generation TaeYeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Sunny & Seohyun can sing ballads we all know that, but can they dance and sing by themselves without the main & lead dance team of Girls Generation which is comprised of HyoYeon, SooYoung, Yuri & Yoona. Well Seohyun is a lead dancer & singer.
Their debut single titled Twinkle shows the girls are being prepared possibly for a concert? They all already confirmed that the Music Video isn't what really happens behind the scenes when they prepare for a concert. Twinkle depicts the life of an idol, actor or actress. That where-ever they go, people will recognize them. Much like the song Fame where they talk about being famous, but a but more K-POP tune.
Recently a MR-REMOVED video has gone viral around the web as it shows the girls powerful vocals while dancing, it proves that Girls Generation can sing and dance at the same time.

Massive Post! The Comebacks

Yes you guess it right! One of the best rookie of the year 2010 is back! SISTAR returns with a mellow dance track, it's a bit far away from the hard-hitting dance track that a lot of girl groups these days are doing & they have a new dance. The song as usual starts with HyoRin's strong vocals, what's surprising though is they actually made SoYu stand-out. I mean we all know that So-yu can sing, but let's just say, they actually took the time to highlight her parts. Let's not forget about Bora, she doesn't need any kind of attention, I mean she can grab your attention as soon as she starts rapping, and let's not forget Dasom the very image of the group, she's beautiful as usual, but she still lacks the vocal promotions that a lot of fans have been waiting for. Let's hope that for their upcoming songs, Dasom would be paid attention to more.
4MINUTE
You guessed it! Upcoming is 4Minute. They released an amazing song this time, but 4Minute should at least let their sexy image a bit more, their sexy image is too extreme and since their audiences are more of the younger ages, they need to keep that in mind. We all know that they aren't getting any younger but sometimes showing their real age on stage is more charming than pretending. Second, their company need to stop using HyunA as a marketing for the group, cause let's face it, it's not getting any attention anymore, it worked during their debut days, but it's been three years and they need to get the other members to use their charms too. Finally after three years of waiting JiYoon & SoHyun finally captured the people's attention. Let's not forget that JiYoon used to rap endlessly and now they highlighed her high notes which is amazing, as for SoHyun her low notes are amazing, she's no longer the baby we all know. JiHyun also did an amazing job, but her parts didn't get much attention. What disappointed me is GaYoon during their live performances she didn't perform her high notes as well. She needs to perform them better if she wants people to recognize her talent and that she's not just a pretty face in the group.
A PINK
A Pink recently made their comeback with the song titled 'Hush' and let's just say they are letting go of their cute concept little by little and they are doing an amazing for it. They are also gaining attention for their current fashion for their comeback single. Let's face it, any fashionista would love the dresses they are wearing on their live performances and their music video. It's full of colour and the girls did justice to the dress. Though their music is gaining attention little by little, it still is not up to their full potential yet. Let's wait till A Pink gives us a good twist to their current images.
G.NA
Last is G.NA the sexy solo singer following Lee HyoRi. Her latest single titled 2HOT is really HOT but it's not the G.NA that we all come to love, her image is not the same it's a bit too open for minor. The Music Video is also not that great! I mean come-on what's with the firefighters? Okay, I get it. They just get to stand behind G.NA while she's singing and dancing wearing short shorts & a tiny shirt? Say What!? Yes, they stand behind her while she dances a bit too much. No offence to G.NA and CUBE but their releases lately have been a bit too dull and it doesn't carry that same quality it used to! Her style is getting more and more like HyunA whenever she makes her comebacks! One HyunA is good enough, thank you :D

With the recent influx of boybands returning left and right, here is a bright shine to all fans of K-POP who has been following the music world ever since the birth of the original idols.
This is where SHINHWA comes in, many of you might be having the ? appear on top of your heads, here is a hint [BoA isn't the first singer under SM Entertainment]. Yes! You're guess is right, SHINHWA was formed under SM Entertainment and is the only surviving original idol who are still together after 14 years. I was 5 years old when they debuted 14 years is a golden year for an idol group.
On March 28th they released their comeback single titled 'Venus' for those who might not know, 'Venus' also stands for the word 'Beauty'. I did not pay attention to the MV for a week straight thinking that it's gonna be the old kind of K-POP music, well then guess again! SHINHWA combined the old&new art. Their choreography is polished that it has a better standard than the second generation boybands, they didn't try to fit themselves with the current influx of boybands, and most importantly they made themselves known once again. It's a lot of hard work to make yourself known if your against people who are younger than you for a generation.
Now let's talk about the MV. As I mentioned before, their choreography is something to be noted about. It's polished and it has it's own vibe that clearly separates itself from the current boyband dance trend which is the [hip-trust] ob course they have their own version of the hip-trust yet, it's more polished and it gives the dance a cleaner version. No offence to the second generation boybands out there. Their vocals is something that should be mentioned also, while many will take the high notes out, SHINHWA made an amazing combination of low-notes, mid-notes that goes to near high notes and then the sudden appearance of an english&korean rap. A lot to take in but it's gonna be the best 4 minutes of your life. So without further ado! Check out the MV

Remember the boyband that Cube Entertainment said they would debut this year? Well, they already did. Although their progress was buried under BIGBANG, SPICA, SHINee, Miss A, B.A.P, Ailee, F.T ISLAND & C.N.BLUE's comebacks & debuts. This group proved themselves that they should not be ignored.
BtoB which stands for Born to Beat is the new boyband under Cube Entertainment the same entertainment which manages B2ST, 4MINUTE, G.NA, A PINK, MARIO, HUH GAK & many others.
Their debut single titled INSANE has the same tune/type of music that B2ST does, but what's the difference? Their rap & their vocals blend in really well together, that you wouldn't notice that they are rookies? though their debut stages are a bit shaky, it's all in time and practice that they will perfect their stages. Netizens compare this group a lot with B2ST why? maybe because a few members look like B2ST members and their main rapper, raps a lot of JunHyung? let's face it, K-POP group these days don't have a lot of differences from each other, but at least they set themselves a part from their sunbaes right?
This group promises to be another that should be watched for! Without further ado! Check out their debut single INSANE

JB & JiYeon: Together

The 7th OST of the Korean Drama Dream High is out and it is sang by non other than JB & JiYeon themselves. The song was revealed during the 14th episode. We all probably hate Shin HaeSung right now because she separated JB & Rian but lets face it, she might have done it without realizing the pain of love.
The song is Ballad Track and is a perfect combination of the mellow voices of JB & JiYeon there were no high notes that cannot be reached, its a perfect combination of mellow ballad. The chorus is repetitive that becomes addicting after listening to the song for more than 2 times. Its a great song to sing for your love one.

After months and months of endless teasers of _ _ _ (fill in the blank) an actual MV of the new boyband EXO has been revealed to the public a few days ago. It screams SM ENTERTAINMENT all over due to the simple moves yet it catches the eye. Also, the 12 members concept is a bit old don't you think? This concept was popularized by boyband Super Junior and let's just say that too many members is too much and is a lot of disadvantage to the other members of the group. Though the MV for both is eye catching, and has two different versions, [Korean & Chinese] it still has the same version & dance.
