After School & Secret Japanese Debut + SNSD Bad Girl MV
August 11, 2011 6:31 PM ♥
After many member changes After School finally took their first step into the Japanese Market with their 2010 hit single Bang!. Although it is noticeably different from their Korean MV, it has been doing pretty good in the Japanese Music Charts. After School recently held their first Japanese fan-meeting and they managed to round up 3,000 Japanese Fans. Not a lot, but still a bit of an accomplishment. It's better than nothing right? It's not as many as other Korean Artist who moved up to Japan, but it's still something alright.
With their Bang! PV. After School made a few changes with the song, noticeably one additional member E-Young and the graduated member Bekah. Many fans complain as E-Young didn't have many screen time with the PV and deciding to remove Bekah was a bad move. Well let's just say it's not as good as the Korean MV, but Kahi & Lizzy proved themselves that they can rap.
Bang! comes with the same drums & red outfits, but you can see that member UEE actually participated in the recording of the song and the PV. Let's just say I wasn't really impressed with what they did this time.
Now let's move on to SECRET the new sensation of the Japanese Market, these girls has outdone themselves and I must say that TS ENT (their Korean Label) did an amazing job promoting these girls.
Madonna comes with the same tune just like the Korean Version, but instead of repeated scenes from the original MV, they actually changed a lot and I must say it was a good change as they gave each member proper screentime.
Members Sunhwa, JiEun & HyoSung sung the lyrics that has been translated into Japanese perfectly. Although Zinger's rap was still in Japanese it was understandable as rapping in a foreign language was first hard and you could make mistakes.
Just like After School, Secret recently held their first hand-shake in Japanese with 3,500 fans and more waiting outside. Now that is an accomplishment. Although the fans outside were not counted, I gather it was more than 3, 500 since these girls are amazing. With JiEun as their main vocal and Sunhwa as their image well let's just say they are going to do amazing things in Japan.
It was also recently reported that Secret has been doing well in the Oricon Single Charts as they reached they recently reached the TOP 10 of the Oricon Daily Singles Chart.
So yesterday I posted about the new upcoming PV of Girls' Generation's follow up single Bad Girl. Not long after, the full Music Video was revealed. Although I expected a lot, the music video didn't do justice for me. As I feel that their live performance of the song was better than this PV.
Check it out for yourself.

I was born in a little town called Baritao in the Philippines. I lived there for 11 years and moved to Canada. I've been living in Canada ever since, and of course I've visited
the Philippines once. I can speak Pangasinan, Tagalog & English though I'm a bit slow with understading & reading Pangasinan sentences. I work & I go to college. I enjoy listening to
K-POP & R&B Music, I love to dance and sing around the house. I enjoy making Minitokyo Layouts & playing with different shades of colors, sometimes I even surprise myself due to the
result of my experiments. I love to watch Korean TV Dramas, Variety Shows & etc. Once in a while I watch anime's specifically BLEACH, GUNDAM SEED, GUNDAM SEED DESTINY, GHOST HUNT & others.
Luminous Rain || Minitokyo Layouts
Luminous-Rain has been with me since July 2011. I once blogged in Tumblr but it only gives me the ability to posts a few stuff. Searched and Searched the web for a blogging site
that can provide my need and I happen to stumble upon Blogger.
Luminous-Rain is the third name of the site, it first started with
Hime-Dreams but since the name seem a
bit off I decided to go with
S-KoreAii but it seems too direct, so I decided to change the name of the site again and I came up with
Luminous-Rain I don't really know what it
means, but I really love the name that I came up with so I changed it again, there is the story of how
Luminous-Rain came to life.

Live life to the fullest, don't give a reason to anyone to ruin your day or your future! Continue walking like your walking through a path of cloud
Life is precious, it is given by GOD and therefore no human being should take another human being's life. It is only GOD who is able to give and take life away.
Our parents, are merely a vessel given to us by GOD so that someone will pass GOD's love to us. Therefore treat your parent's respect and show them how you appreciate their hardships.
